A careful review.
A clearer path forward.
We represent injured New York workers in workers’ compensation claims, payment disputes, treatment issues, and hearings before the Board.
The details matter: what happened, which documents exist, and what you need to resolve. Our first step is to listen and review that information with you.
What to gather before speaking with us
- Date, location, and description of injury
- Employer details and notices sent
- Medical reports and work restrictions
- Decisions, notices, and payments received
You do not need everything ready before contacting us. Keep originals and bring the correspondence you have received, especially anything listing dates or deadlines.
What to expect
We will explain whether we can evaluate the matter, what additional information we need, and the potential next steps. Fees and the scope of representation are agreed in writing before work begins.
What we review in a work injury claim
A case may involve medical expenses, lost earnings, and permanent effects, depending on eligibility and evidence. We review established injuries, wages, medical reports, and prior decisions to identify what is resolved and what remains disputed.
If the insurer denies or stops payments
The written reason matters. A dispute may concern the accident, degree of disability, return-to-work date, or missing information. We gather the documentation needed to assess the problem and the appropriate resolution process. Not every letter requires the same response.
Treatment, IMEs, and hearings
We guide you through notices and organizing your information. Treatment authorization issues require coordination with the provider. A hearing requires reviewing its stated issue and prior decisions. Before a settlement, we analyze which benefits are proposed for resolution.
